Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Morocco international, Achraf Hakimi, emerged as Africa’s most expensive players with an estimated transfer value of KSh 9.2 billion (€75.2m).
Hakimi’s market value is KSh 2.9 billion (€24.2m) more than Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah, the second most valuable player on the list at KSh 6.8 billion (€55m).
PSG signed the right back from Inter Milan in a deal reportedly worth €60 million in last year’s summer transfer window.
Napoli and Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen, (€51m) complete Africa’s top three most valuable players in the top 100 list, according to the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES).

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, who marshaled Senegal to their first ever Africa Cup Of Nations victory, was nowhere on the list of 100 most valuable players.
Meanwhile, the first place in this ranking went to PSG’s Kylian Mbappe with (€205m), followed by Real Madrid player Vinícius Júnior (€185.3m), and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (€152.6m).

As previously reported, PSG’s Lionel Messi emerged as Forbes’ highest paid athlete, earning more than Basketballer, Lebron James, and Cristiano Ronaldo, composing the top three respectively.
Lionel Messi made KSh 15.1 billion ($130m) last financial year, Lebron James earned KSh 14.1 billion ($121.2m), while Ronaldo made KSh 13.3 billion ($115m).
Neymar was the only other footballer to make the top 10 with annual gross earnings of KSh 11.02 billion ($95m).
