Ngina Kenyatta, daughter of Kenya’s current president, Uhuru Kenyatta, and first lady Margaret Kenyatta, is said to have married in a secret wedding over the weekend.
Former statehouse digital strategist and current hustler nation spokesperson, Dennis Itumbi, broke the unconfirmed news on his Twitter account wishing the newlyweds all the best.
“Ngina Kenyatta, Congratulations on your Traditional Wedding. May God fill your journey with blessings solidify your union with renewed love and importantly grant you a great family.” He tweeted.
Ngina’s marriage was meant to be lowkey as the President prefers to keep his family life private, but now Kenyans are sending felicitations thanks to Itumbi’s message.
The Kikuyu traditional marriage also known as Nguracio is one of the ceremonies that is still celebrated to the present day. The conventional dowry payment is given prior to the wedding ceremony with the bride price initially paid in the form of livestock
