Bishop Allan Kiuna, the founder and lead pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), has died after a long battle with cancer.
Bishop Kiuna passed away after fighting Multiple Myeloma Cancer and had been undergoing treatment overseas.
Bishop Kiuna publicly revealed his battle with cancer in 2019 and announced his successful recovery while speaking at the JCC church in 2023.
His treatment started in December 2022 when he went to the United States for medical treatment.

Even though the journey was difficult, he came back to his community and announced that he was free of cancer, showing great appreciation.
Bishop Kiuna was eulogized by friends and dignitaries who took to social media to share their heartfelt tributes and condolences. Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO, Ezekiel Mutua, described him as a man whose powerful sermons touched many people.
“Bishop Allan Kiuna preached with zeal, power and conviction and did not hold back even in the face of criticism. His powerful sermons and transformative leadership made JCC a global brand.
“He has touched so many people with the power of his faith. My sincere condolences to Rev. Kathy and the entire family, the JCC fraternity and the church at large. May Bishop’s soul rest in peace,” Mutua posted on X.
The power couple had been wed for more than 30 years, leading a life devoted to their faith and community.
Bishop Kiuna is survived by his wife and loving partner, Reverend Cathy Kiuna, and their three children: Vanessa, Jeremy, and Stephanie.
