Barcelona’s forward, Robert Lewandowski, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the third player in history to net 100 goals in the history of European competitions.. This accomplishment came during Barcelona’s convincing 5-0 victory over Antwerp.
Xavi’s side were three goals ahead after just 23 minutes thanks to strikes from Joao Felix and Robert Lewandowski, plus an own goal from Jelle Bataille.
Gavi added a fourth before Felix got his second after the break to give Barca’s campaign the perfect start.
The former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund star has now ascended to an exclusive club, joining the ranks of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo who have also achieved this monumental milestone.
Lewandowski is now behind Leo Messi (132) and Cristiano Ronaldo (145).

The striker reached the figure in his 139th match in Europe, having played for Lech Poznan (6 goals in 16 games), Borussia Dortmund (18 in 36 games), Bayern (69 in 79 games) and now Barça (7 in 8 games).
After their commanding triumph over Antwerp. Barcelona must now gear up for their Saturday evening encounter with Celta Vigo. Their primary aim is to reduce the existing two-point margin that separates them from the top of the league, currently occupied by Real Madrid.
