Whoever thought that writing letters was old school or was only for high school sweethearts, you were wrong. Bahati aka mtoto wa mama shared a heartfelt letter to his wife Diana Marua amidst all the trolling she has been receiving over the past few months.
Bahati took to his Facebook page to share a long letter that he wrote to Diana. This letter was more of a response to the haters than it was to Diana. Bahati also tried to portray a united front as a family to his haters because everything be shared on that letter would have been said on a phone call.
The first paragraph of the letter is hilarious to say the least. He informs Diana that he would have loved to express the content of the letter face to face but because he was away on a business meeting and would be coming to Nairobi the next day, the online letter would suffice.
Knowing Kenyans, they will not let that slide. It is almost as if Bahati wants to be trolled and make headlines on Kenyan tabloids. Bahati shares that the trolling does not bother Diana.

The singer, proceeds to shower Diana with praise by calling her a star and acknowledging her rise to fame by mentioning she has the largest following and subscribe YouTube channel in East Africa and reminds her she has a huge following of #teamdiana and #teambahati.
Bahati expresses regret for introducing Diana into the limelight and claims that he forced her into it. He shares that he sometimes wants to apologize to Diana for exposing her to a dark side of fame but points out that it was God’s plan.
Diana has been making headlines due to the videos of her dancing with other men like Terrence the Creative and KRG Don in a suggestive manner, that Kenyans found inappropriate for a married woman. She also recently made headlines for her fashion choices after her post with her son.
Bahati however is not the only man who came to Diana’s rescue. Ringtone Apoko shared a video on his socials urging Kenyans to stop trolling Diana and Bahati. He then shared that in Africa, it does not matter who the biological father of a baby is. The man who raises the child is the one who becomes the father.
