Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has taken a giant leap forward in his career by joining Manchester United.
Onana will replace David De Gea who left on a free transfer last month.

Erik ten Hag knows the 27-year-old very well since the Cameroonian international played for him at Ajax.
Under the guidance of Erik ten Hag, Andre Onana experienced a series of triumphs with Ajax.
He played a pivotal role in the club’s resurgence in the UEFA Champions League during the 2018-2019 season as well as winning three league titles.
Onana said he was excited to work with Erik ten Hag again and wants to create his own legacy at Old Trafford.

“To join Manchester United is an incredible honour and I have worked hard all my life to get to this moment, overcoming many obstacles along the way,” he said.
“Walking out at Old Trafford to defend our goal and contribute to the team will be another amazing experience. This is the start of a new journey for me with new teammates and new ambitions to fight for,” said Onana.
Onana has also had setbacks in his career. In 2021, he spent nine months on the sidelines after diuretic furosemide, a banned substance was found in his urine.
