President Uhuru Kenyatta has dazzled Kenyans with his smooth dance skills during a rally in Mombasa, to Bob Marley’s One Love.

Uhuru is seen in the now-viral video singing along to the street hymn while moving in sync with the beats, as the audience cheers him on.

The president mimicked the popular reggae dancing method of lifting hands in the air while gently jamming the legs up and down, as did other Mombasa officials who joined him on stage.

Uhuru is clearly a fan of reggae, as seen by his taste in music.

During an interview on the Churchill show 11 years ago, the now-President professed his profound affection for reggae music, naming specific artists he admires.

”I’m stuck in a certain age, my favourite musicians are UB40, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs,” he revealed.

He then stated six years later, during an interview with radio hosts Daniel Githinji and Cyrus Afune, that while he enjoys reggae music, he prefers the “old school” type.

Weeks ago, Deputy President William Ruto, impressed Kenyans with his fancy dance moves while stylishly dressed in a striped green and yellow shirt, that complemented his Air Force 1 sneaker and blue pants.

The video, shared by comedian Vincent Chipukeezy who was hyping him, shows the UDA presidential aspirant’s smooth dancing skills while enjoying the gengetone banger “Sipangwingwi” at Nyayo Stadium’s youth forum, in front of a glam camera.

“His Excellency msimchezee anatambua moves za Tik Tok. Alafu Drip,” captioned the comedian on the viral video.

Ruto was given a tour of different exhibition stands at the forum.

Later, he, Musalia Mudavadi, and other UDA Politicians sold their manifesto.

During the forum, Ruto advised the youth to vote for an agenda that would impact and change their lives positively after the elections.

“Get up pull up your socks and go vote. Vote for the agenda that will change your life,” said the presidential candidate.

He also cautioned youths who do not vote that they will be led by fools in return, adding that if a candidate they dislike happens to win the elections, they would lack the morals to complain due to their failure to vote.
